Giddings Paces Cougars at NJCAA DIII Mountain Valley Conference Championship

The Clinton Community College Women's Cross Country team competed at the NJCAA Division III Mountain Valley Conference Championship on Saturday, October 19. The meet was hosted by Herkimer County Community College. Freshman Kiley Giddings (Keeseville, N.Y./AuSable Valley) finished the 5-kilometer course in a time of 27:30.7 for seventh place. Right behind Giddings in eighth place was Sophomore Montana Kirkum (Morrisonville, N.Y./Saranac) with a time of 27:34.8. Rounding out the field for the Cougars was Sophomore Rosanne Trevail (Cadyville, N.Y./Home schooled) in a time of 29:55.1 for 12th place. Hudson Valley Community College fielded the only complete team and took the crown. The Cougars race next at the NJCAA Division III Region III Championships at Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday, October 26.
